An immersive full-day writing workshop led by professional writers from the animation industry. In this hands-on masterclass, you'll learn how animated stories are built, from developing strong concepts and memorable characters to structuring scenes and writing dialogue that works on screen.

This workshop is designed for both beginners and experienced writers.

Meet the writers:

Janine is a proud 2024 Fred Rogers Writers’ Neighborhood Fellow, a prestigious fellowship focused on writing for children’s television with Fred Rogers Productions. Upcoming credits include PBS KIDS Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood (Season 8) and Moonbug’s Mail with Mr. ZIP (Season 2). 

Steven Darancette is professional writer for television animation, live action, film, with a body of work that spans comedy, action, preschool, family entertainment, and educational media. His credits include Amazon Studios, Cartoon Network, Warner Bros. Television Animation, Nickelodeon, Mattel Entertainment, Age of Learning, Moonbug Entertainment, and Voyage Media.
